How Much Sorer ?
Psalm 89
Psalm 89:5-8 And the heavens shall praise thy wonders, O Yahuweh: thy faithfulness also in the congregation of the saints. 6For who in the heaven can be compared unto Yahuweh? who among the sons of the mighty can be likened unto Yahuweh? 7God is greatly to be feared in the assembly of the saints, and to be had in reverence of all them that are about him. 8O Yahuweh God of hosts, who is a strong Yahuweh like unto thee? or to thy faithfulness round about thee?
Psalm 119:75 I know, O Yahuweh, that thy judgments are right, and that thou in faithfulness hast afflicted me.
Psalm 89:26-37 He shall cry unto me, Thou art my father, my God, and the rock of my salvation. 27Also I will make him my firstborn, higher than the kings of the earth. 28My mercy will I keep for him for evermore, and my covenant shall stand fast with him. 29His seed also will I make to endure for ever, and his throne as the days of heaven. 30If his children forsake my law, and walk not in my judgments; 31If they break my statutes, and keep not my commandments; 32Then will I visit their transgression with the rod, and their iniquity with stripes. 33Nevertheless my lovingkindness will I not utterly take from him, nor suffer my faithfulness to fail.   34My covenant will I not break, nor alter the thing that is gone out of my lips.(eternal salvation) 35Once have I sworn by my holiness that I will not lie unto David.  36His seed shall endure for ever, and his throne as the sun before me. 37It shall be established for ever as the moon, and as a faithful witness in heaven.
Hebrews 10:26-31 26For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins, 27But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries. 28He that despised Moses’ law died without mercy under two or three witnesses: 29Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace? 30For we know him that hath said, Vengeance belongeth unto me, I will recompense, saith the Lord. And again, The Lord shall judge his people. 31It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.
By our willful sinning after we have been saved, not utilizing the Blood and
Body of Messiah in communion by judging ourselves, we are judged by God and chastened. So we are not judged with the world. You must judge yourselves to break the bondage.
Father let the sword of The Spirit cut to the truth for our deliverance of afflictions that bind us. Let your mercy flow through the blood of Your Son’s sacrifice for Israel; Your renewed covenant upon our hearts reflecting in life for all ages.
